A few items to mention with regard to upcoming courses and events in 2006:
The Basic Corrosion course being offered in Edmonton from January 30 to February 3, 2006 is now FULL.
That being said, we would like to mention that NACE Calgary will be hosting this course in the Fall of 2006. Details can be found here on the NACE Calgary website.
If there is an overwhelming response to this course, the Edmonton Section will consider running a second course later in the year.
Internal Corrosion for Pipelines
There are still spots remaining for the Internal Corrosion for Pipelines course being offered in Edmonton from January 30 to February 3, 2006. For more information on this course, please visit the NACE International website.
As provided by the NACE Calgary Section, please click here to view the NACE Estevan Seminar Preview for 2006. This seminar, entitled "Downhole Corrosion Challenges & Remedies", is being held in Estevan, Saskatchewan on April 13, 2006.

As the Dupont Elastomer Training course for May was cancelled, NACE Edmonton Section is pleased to have rescheduled this course for Tuesday, January 17, 2006.
As well, NACE Calgary Section will be presenting Shallow Gas Gathering Pipeline System Integrity seminar in Medicine Hat, AB on November 22, 2005.

The NACE Edmonton Section is pleased to present the "NACE International MR0175/ISO 15156 One-Day Seminar". This seminar will take place in Edmonton, AB on Friday, September 16, 2005.

Spring is here and it will soon be time to get out those golf clubs! The 18th Annual NACE Golf Tournament will be held on Monday, June 27, 2005 at the Coloniale Golf Club in Beaumont, AB.

The NACE Edmonton Section is pleased to present the following two events scheduled for May 9th and 10th at the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza in Edmonton, AB.
We are presenting these two events back to back in order to make it easier for those members from out of town, so please come and enjoy both events!

The May Technical Meeting, to be held May 9, 2005, will feature presentations on "Coating Specification Writing" by Dave Hennerbichler and "Quality Control and Assurance" by Wayne Duncan.

The Dupont Dow Elastomer Training course to be held on May 10, 2005. This course is back by popular demand and is a huge benefit to anyone selecting, specifying or procuring elastomeric sealing components. The course is limited to the first 40 registrants so register early!
